Out-of-State Patient Licenses
Patients who reside outside of Oklahoma may qualify for a 30-day temporary Oklahoma Medical Marijuana License if they hold a valid, state-government-issued medical marijuana patient license from their home state.
Oklahoma does not accept prescriptions or physician certifications alone. The applicant’s home state must issue an official medical marijuana patient license through a state regulatory agency.
Who Qualifies?
- Patients from states where the state government issues medical marijuana licenses are eligible.
What Is Required to Apply?
Out-of-state applicants must provide:
A valid, state-issued medical marijuana patient license
A compliant passport-style photo
Proof of identity (digital color copies of the front and back of one of the following):
- State-issued driver license
- State-issued ID card
- U.S. Passport
License Duration
Out-of-state licenses are valid for 30 days from the date of approval.
Application Fees
The state application fee is nonrefundable and paid directly to the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA):
- $100 application fee
- $4.30 credit card processing fee
